We made our way to Cambridge on Sunday. First stop was the Harvard Museum of Natural History, which was tons of fun with tiny tyke Kaylee! One of the first items we saw was a triceratops scull to which Kaylee blurted out "Holy cow! That triceratops is HUGE!" Seriously, those were her exact words. In the stone/crystal section of the museum, Kaylee was moving from case to case saying "What's that daddy? What's that daddy?" Nick answered "that's Quartz too" many many times. She was also excited about the huge stuffed giraffe. (Does taxidermy make anyone else feel...a little weird?) The giraffe didn't look so good to Nick and I, but Kaylee was awed at it's huge size.
After making our way through the museum, we wondered over to Harvard Square for lunch and had some great pizza. Once lunch was consumed, we continued to meander the streets. Kaylee fell asleep in her baby backpack. (Yes, I can still carry my 30 pound toddler on my back. Are you impressed? Nick was.)

Oh and just before heading home, Kaylee ate a snack on one of the benches in Harvard yard. One of her favorite past times is eating snacks on outdoor benches. She loves to people watch!
