Now that we have kids, I love sending out Christmas cards. It's really just an excuse to send a picture to everyone. I also love receiving holiday photo cards of other kids. Our refrigerator is a repository of children's holiday photos. There are a few years worth of Christmas photo cards packed onto every square inch of our refrigerator. I have trouble throwing the photos away, but it's getting a bit ridiculous, so I'm going to have to figure something out...
This is Emily's debut Christmas, and she generally looks unimpressed with the whole situation. Unimpressed is okay though, at least she doesn't look mad. She does smile, I swear, but not for the camera. She prefers faces, especially Kaylee's face. There were a few pics with her looking intently at her big sister, which was cute, but the photo below turned out to be the best overall picture.
I adore the dress that Kaylee is wearing in the picture. It's ridiculously pretty. My aunt is a children's clothing designer in NYC and is kind enough to endow us with free samples from time to time. This gorgeous dress was one of those samples. (Thank you Aunt Susan!)
Below this year's card is last year's card. Yes, we used the same design. We like it because the actual photo space is larger than in many of the other card styles. Hopefully next year there will be more to choose from. I just wanted to include last year's card because so much has changed in the last year! Look at how big Kaylee is now! She's starting to look like a little kid (rather than a toddler). And we have a whole new person too! It's just craziness!

It's great to get these type of cards. I get to show my friends and co-workers a real picture of the girls versus the small screen on my out of date cell phone.
