Deck the halls & Emily toes

The Friday after Thanksgiving we decorated the ole Christmas tree and carefully hung those stockings by the fireplace. Kaylee and Emily decorated their own stockings this year. Okay, I decorated Emily's stocking, but she was cooing her approval as I did. There are a few pics below for your enjoyment. You might notice that Nick isn't in any of the photos. He was the photographer for the day. I believe, at least partially, he volunteers for this job so he doesn't have to be in pics. ;)

You might also notice the one photo I'm in I look extra super duper serious. Apparently, that was my least serious face. Yikes! Honestly, I don't take decorating that seriously. I swear! I was trying to be quick though, Emily was sleeping a few feet away in the swing, and that kid never naps longer than 20 minutes! And speaking of the Emily meister, she was sleeping so no pics of her, but I did add a bonus photo of Em's tiny toes! Why are baby toes so cute?
