Kaylee had two small parties, and then on her actual birthday we took her to the Boston Science Museum. She had fun. There's a section of the museum called the Discovery Center specifically geared for younger kids with lots of opportunity for hands on play, which was great. Obviously part of being a two year old means wanting to touch everything, so that was right up her alley.
Below you'll see a picture of Kaylee playing with just a tiny little wee bit of playdough (excuse the fuzziness, it was taken with my phone). She received 24 canisters of playdough from Uncle Mike and Auntie Kristin as part of her present! Wow, that's a lot of dough! I told my parents with so much playdough lying around Kaylee could probably stand to have more playdough accessories. Well, the picture speaks for itself. There are large quantities of both playdough and playdough accessories in our house, and when it's time to play...everything must come out! She knows too if I try to be sneaky and hold a few canisters back. This kid doesn't miss a trick. Stay tuned, more birthday tidbits to follow!

I can only imagine what she is thinking with all of those colors, textures and tid bits of equipment to make things. You captured a little bit of her spirit in that pic. I love it!
