Welcome Home Nick

Nick had to travel this past week for work. It was so exotic too, being in sunny California. A nice cozy conference room with no windows packed nice and tight with fellow engineers from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Ahhh, sounds relaxing doesn't it? I was so bummed that I didn't get invited (not really). Nick was happy to be home last night. As Kaylee ran over to the door with her arms up screaming DADA DADA DADA, it became apparent that she was happy to have daddy home.

I was also happy to see Nick. Not only did I miss him, but I was starting to get pretty stinky. Seriously, it's hard to figure out how to take a shower with a 14 month old running around that doesn't nap. Scary picture I know, but I can't help but state the truth. (Don't worry I did manage to shower a couple times while Nick was gone.)

Oh yes, and there was one more Halloween event for Kaylee yesterday. The library had a story time and costume parade special for the Halloween occasion. Kaylee had a great time. You can see how popular it was from the pictures below!
