Christmas afternoon was quiet. My parents were visiting Alexis's family, which is also where Mark and Alexis were. Mike and Kristin were in New York visiting Kristin's family, and Nick's father had to work. Boo.
It was a nice afternoon though. After visiting with my parents we picked up Nick's mom and brought her to our place for the afternoon. I made some brownie pudding for dessert, which is pretty easy to make. Dinner was simple too. Rigatoni and sausage. Aside from eating, Kaylee still had our presents to open. Again we had trouble getting her to open anything, but once everything was open she loved it all. We tried to keep the gifts simple. A book with lots of flaps (she really likes books with flaps), a chunky wood puzzle with safari animals, and a set of wood building blocks. An interesting side note: we greatly underestimated the weight of building blocks (or just never stopped to think about building block weight in general). They're like 50 pounds! OK, I exaggerate, but seriously they weigh about 20 pounds. And that's pretty heavy!
OK, OK, I know you're waiting for some pictures...here you go!
