I know we’ve been a bit overenthusiastic with the camera posts (probably only re-enforcing the fact that we have obsessive tendencies), but my mom commented that she wished she could post a picture of her itty bitty sports wrist camera next to our colossal camera. It's a little difficult to see because the picture of the little tough camera is zoomed, but you get the idea…the tiny next to the gigantic! In our camera’s defense, that funky hat it wears gives it at least six additional inches of height (and then of course there’s the external flash giving it extra loftiness as well). While I agree that my mom’s camera would win in the “stealthy” category, our camera would definitely win in the “it’s going to create a scene wherever we take it” category. Which, when you think about it, could be a desirable trait; you never know when you might have to create a distraction (you know, for a quick escape).

We are going to watch the moose at sunset with a Maine guide somewhere past moosehead lake the first week in August. I'm glad my camera doesn't make a scene. I'm thinking that there must be nothing worse than making a moose nervous. By the way, this camera is for the technology challenged as well. I now have all of my pictures stored on my computer for viewing. My little camera is the bomb!
