In "Teething Troubles" we mentioned Kaylee's bedtime blues. After three weeks of gnawing on her fingers, the teething seemed to subside, but alas she was still having those bedtime blues! She had forgotten how nice it was to get a good night's sleep in her spacious crib. She much preferred being carried around in the baby carrier. After one night of no sleep for anyone, we had to figure out how to coax her into sleeping in her crib.
She was persistently angry with the crib arrangement, but only for two days. It was touch and go for about 30-40 minutes those two nights, but we finally convinced her that she had an awesome sleeping space. There was belly rubbing and bedside cheering (you can do it Kaylee!), the end result being a much, much happier family. She's back to being the sleeping champ she was before all that yucky teething occurred. Not to mention, she's even more of a spunky punky during the day too (who knew that was possible, eh).
Now, about that marathon training...
