The Pheasant Lane mall has a new toddler play area that has all kinds of fun objects to crawl over or play on like a space ship, boat, truck, and even a little munchkin slide. I know I know, hanging out at the mall, kind of lame. But really, this toddler area is great. For one it's brand new, it's air conditioned, and it gives Kaylee an opportunity to see other little munchkins. She's fearless by the way, which seems out of character given her general cautious tendencies. Kaylee really enjoys playing with one of the puzzles, and she'll go for it regardless of anyone else who might be using it (including four year olds who don't necessarily "play well with others"). Now she doesn't mind if the other little one sticks around, but she tries to muscle her way right in.
Thursday Kaylee tested out her new skill of one handed walking at the play area in the mall, and she was thrilled with her free hand. She could grab and touch everything as she ran right over to her beloved puzzle! The picture was taken with my phone so it's a little dark and fuzzy, but you get the idea.
