How Random Can I Be: Work, the Aquarium, Singing

Work:
Random funny story for the week. I'm in a small meeting. There's Engineer 1, 2, & 3 (all men), an admin support, and me (let's call me Engineer Katie). Engineer 1 quizzing Engineer 2 asks, "do you know the tag line for G.I. Joe?" Engineer 2 looks slightly confused. Engineer Katie is thinking, ooh, ooh, I know that! And exuberantly blurts out "Knowing is half the battle!" The room falls silent. Crickets are chirping. "Yup, that's right, I've seen G.I. Joe." Everyone chuckles, and the meeting moves on.
Okay, maybe it's not that funny, but it was funny at the time!


The Aquarium:
A couple weeks ago, we took Kaylee to the New England Aquarium in Boston. She loved it! She's still talking about it in fact. The sea turtles and penguins seemed to have had the greatest influence. She'll see a penguin (in a book) and she'll immediately go into this explanation about how "Kaylee went to the aquarium and saw penguins! They were swimming!" She was also enthusiastic about the sea turtles. We've uploaded a short video onto smug mug that shows Kaylee with the sea turtles. Oh, and in case you were wondering, she's already asked to go back.


Singing:
Kaylee sings all the time. She often sings the ABC song over and over. She's also a big fan of the Wheels on the Bus, The Farmer and the Dell, Head Shoulders Knees and Toes, Patty Cake, and Baa Baa Black Sheep. Here's the deal though, I cannot get her to sing on camera! She'll sing a line then run at the camera exclaiming, "see Kaylee, see Kaylee!" Yesterday she must have been feeling generous because she sang all her ABC's on camera! Well, almost all of them anyway. She missed a few, but you'll get the point. Here's the video of Kaylee singing.
