Nick is fast becoming quite the photographer. Here is where he pleads for me to rewrite that sentence. To which I can only reply, "but honey, this is my post, and I can't rewrite what has already been written." It's one of my ridiculous rules. Moving on.Saturday we took a trip to Boston. I wanted to pick up my race number the day before the race, rather than stressing about it the morning of. We decided to make an event of it, and brought the fancy pants camera along for the ride. We walked to Faneuil Hall ate some lunch and wandered the streets for a bit. It was nice. Kaylee had a great time too. She likes to run when there is open space, only looks at the ground as she runs, and doesn't care if she rams someone. Interesting to watch, really. Generally I have to trot behind her at the ready to swoop her up just before she rams something or someone. What would she ever do without me?
There were many street performers too. One guy was playing drums on some plastic utility buckets and metal grates. Although he played the same tune over and over, he was pretty good. Kaylee thought so too. Every time I gently tried to guide us away, she would gently re-guide us back. This led to walking circles around the bucket drums. She doesn't miss a trick, that one. Took me a minute to figure out what was going on though. We are in so much trouble!
Throughout our meanderings, Nick was taking pictures. We've posted a number of them here on smug mug. We'd love to know what you think! Which one is your favorite (besides the Kaylee photos)? :) Do you have any picture taking suggestions?

I thought that they were great. The softer black and white was an interesting technique. There were some really unique angles for the buildings, the photos made some familiar sights unfamiliar.
The benches in the garden and the bird were my favorites. I bet Grammy will like 75 State St. I think she worked very close to that area.
